The structures and materials in our Nature Play Space encourage children to engage with and manipulate objects. The space encourages creativity and initiative. It is tucked into a nook on the east side of the park, just south of the pond. The area is both woodsy and open and all play structures are made of natural materials.

 

Children will find log structures, stump stepping stones, a mud kitchen. There are opportunities for building and sand digging. A wooden akadinda even doubles as a hammock. The area is complete with a wooden stage for planned park events or impromptu performances.

The Nature Play Space is where we host puppet play time, Wiggleworms sessions, and additional activities.
